Sherpa Auto Transport is a transportation broker licensed and bonded by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) under USDOT #3074092. Sherpa arranges motor vehicle transportation with independent, fully insured licensed motor carriers.
The quoted total price provided to you is guaranteed. If the market carrier rate increases before a carrier is contracted, Sherpa will contribute up to $300.00 of our own funds per vehicle to ensure your vehicle is dispatched without requiring additional payment from you.
No upfront deposit is charged when reserving your shipment. The broker service fee is charged only upon assigning a vetted carrier. The remaining carrier balance is paid directly to the driver at the time of vehicle delivery via certified funds, cash, or cashier's check as indicated on your dispatch agreement.
A thorough inspection must be performed jointly by the customer (or designated agent) and the driver at both pickup and delivery points. All pre-existing damage, as well as any transit damage, must be noted on the official Bill of Lading.
You may cancel your transport request at any time prior to carrier assignment with zero penalty. If cancellation occurs after a carrier has been officially scheduled and dispatched, a standard administrative processing fee may apply.
